Finally - after days or maybe months of mailing back and forth, you're ready to meet face to face. It could be as simple as popping the idea in a phone call - or email, if you don't have their number.

The important thing is to get your timing right. Don't ask a girl out during your first chat. Similarly, don't invite your date over at your place or offer to pick up or drop your date home. You could be walking straight into a cleverly laid trap!

A friend of mine always told me to "date like an investor". In other words, find out as much as possible about your date and plan something simple and friendly to start with. Save the exotic or expensive date for later, when you are both serious about each other.
